What a joy it was receiving this award today for all the change we made at Sour Lemons!

Six months on from closing, one week away from turning 30 & three weeks away from birthing my second tiny human. Feels like the right time for closure and abundant celebrations.

Thank you #championofwomenawards it is much appreciated and of course wouldn’t have been possible without the village behind me.

Earlier this month we celebrated the MOOD that is Faith Ocean turning 4. FOUR.

She is so much more than these pictures could ever capture. I am so honoured to have been chosen as her mama. Loving her is a joy and a gift that has given me permission to love and be loved in ways that I didn’t know was possible.

We’ve been through a lot together in these four years, including moving house 10 times, but throughout that uncertainty and pain, what’s always been absolutely clear is that she is my home and I am hers. I stopped trying to be the woman I was before I met her and allowed this embrace to lead me to the woman I could be, the woman we both deserved me to be.

Thank you Faith Ocean for raising me too and giving me permission to put down my armour and start searching for a softer life. Without you I wouldn’t know joy or rest or play or strength as intimately as I know now.

Whilst growing a tiny human I’ve also been birthing a new company with @chloe_does_stuff & a team of very special associates called The What If Experiment!

After six years of running @sourlemonsuk, I said goodbye to the charity last December and transitioned our anti-racism work into a new structure that allows us to be more flexible and focussed in how we disrupt systemic injustice.

The What If Experiment… is an experiment!

It’s for organisations serious about finding alternatives to how things have always been down.

For people who want to question and discover how they can do things differently.

Our new offer includes:

**Anti-racism training for white cultural and creative leaders

**Two year Strategic Partnerships continuing with Royal Court & Young Vic + announcing a third soon

**Provocations & Critical Friendships, a mix of coaching & workshops to dream up and create new possibilities

I’ve got 8 weeks left until I go on maternity so come play…..
